3 shops fined for storing expired medicine

A mobile court seized a large quantity of expired medicines from the possession of three pharmacies in Sherpur town and fined them Tk 25,000 for storing those. Witnesses said the mobile court, led by executive magistrate Shamsuddin Munna, raided three pharmacies in front of Sadar Hospital in Naryanpur and Kalir Bazar of the district town. The mobile court seized a large quantity of expired medicines from the shops. The court also realised a fine of Tk 2,000 from Mim Medical, Tk 3,000 fine from Trina Medicine Centre and Tk 20,000 from Mokhles Medical on the same charge, according to UNB.
