3 shops gutted in Chittagong

CHITTAGONG, Jan 20 (BSS): Three shops were gutted in a fire at the city's Reazuddin Bazar under Kotwali thana Saturday night.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit from an electronic shop at 12:15 am.
Fire service personnel with the help of locals and shop owners extinguished the fire at around 1:22 am.
Fire service and shop owners claimed that valuables of three shops worth about Tk 0.8 million were burnt to ashes in the fire.
