3 shot by BSF at Satkhira border

Three Bangladeshis were shot and wounded by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at Kushkhali union at Satkhira Sadar Upazila on Sunday. One of the injured was identified as Ziaur Raman, son of Atier Rahman of Chhoygharia village of Sadar Upazila. The two other victims could not be identified. Abu Raihan, Chairman of Kushkhali Union Parishad, said a group of BSF troops from Khalisha camp under Basirhat Police Station in India’s West Bengal state opened fire on a group of Bangladeshi nationals while returning home with cattle through Kushkhali border point from India, leaving three of them injured. Among the injured, two were admitted to a local hospital while Ziaur Rahman was rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
