3 shot dead in Pabna

PABNA, May 31: Three people were shot to death and two others injured in a criminal attack in Sadar upazila on Saturday night. One of the deceased was identified as Sultan, 35. Locals said a gang of miscreants swooped on the victims at Pushpapara Bazar on Pabna-Dhaka highway about 8pm and opened fire on them, leaving three dead on the spot and two others injured. The injured were rushed to a local hospital. Further details of the incident were awaited. — UNB
