3-year old \\\'raped\\\' in Sirajganj

A three-year old child has allegedly been raped in the northern Bangladesh district of Sirajganj, police and her family say.
The incident reportedly took place around Thursday noon at Bilashpur in Madhainagar Union, Tarash police OC Ataur Rahman said Friday.
The child had been moved to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital Friday from Tarash Upazila Health Complex as her condition deteriorated.
Dr Ruhul Amin Rony of the health complex said prima facie it appeared the toddler was raped.
The child's mother claimed their neighbour Mohammad Ali, 16, raped her daughter.
She said her daughter came back home blood-drenched in the evening and was rushed to the hospital. The child was now scared at the sight of anyone, her mother added.
Sirajganj Civil Surgeon Md Shamsuddin said the victim would be later examined by a three-member medical board.
OC Rahman said no case had been filed until afternoon but added they were trying to nab the alleged rapist, according to a news agency.
