30-bed diabetic hospital opens at Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, July 17: A 30-bed diabetic hospital has been inaugurated in the district town recently. Social Welfare Minister Enamul Hoque Mostafa Shahid inaugurated the hospital as the chief guest.
Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) constructed the building at a cost of Tk 48 million on the Circuit House Road.
Addressing the inaugural function, the speakers expressed the hope that the new h3ospital would provide local people with proper health services.
Among others, local lawmaker Asaduzzaman Noor, Deputy Commissioner Zillur Rahman, Municipality Mayor Dewan Kamal Ahmed and General Secretary of the diabetic association Majibul Hasan Chowdhury Shahin were present at the inaugural function.
