30 injured in Barisal road accident

At least 30 people were injured when a bus slammed against a boundary wall at Rupatoli on the Barisal-Patuakhali highway in Barisal sadar upazila on Friday. Locals said the accident took place in the area around 8 am when a bus hit against a roadside boundary wall as its driver lost control over steering while getting down from Dapdapia Bridge, leaving 30 people injured. Of the injured, 27 were rushed to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital while the rest three were given first aid, according to a news agency.
