300 cattle vaccinated in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Sept 28 (BSS): Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) held an anti-anthrax vaccination programme at its veterinary clinic Monday. BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. M A Sattar Mandal inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.
Dean of Veterinary Faculty Prof Jalal Uddin Ahmed, Dr. Abdus Samad Khan, director of Veterinary Clinic Prof Dr. Farida Yasmin, Teachers, researchers and concerned officials were present, among others.
Addressing the inaugural programme as the chief guest, the VC said anthrax is a curable disease and there is no cause of anxiety about the disease. About 300 cattle were vaccinated in Sadar upazila under the programme.
