300 disabled persons get free travelling pass in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Feb 26 (BSS): A total of 300 disabled persons in Narsingdi district in the first phase have received their free traveling pass issued by the local Transport Owner`s Association.
Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Amrita Bario distributed the free pass card among the disabled as chief gust at a function organised by Gram Bikash Shohayak Sangstha (NGO) Thursday.
Police super Narsingdi Dr Akkas uddin Bhuiyan, Executive Dirctor, Centre for Disability in Development AHM Noyman attended the function as special guests.
Executive Dirctor, of Gram Bikash Shohayak Sangstha (GBSS) Masuda Faruk Rotna presided over the distribution function which was addressed among others by District social welfare officer Shamsul Alam, journalist Sarker Adam Ali and representative of Narsingdi road transport owners group AHM Jahangir.
Programme coordinator on disability of GBSS Morium Begum Lima delivered the welcome speech in the function.
