300 garment workers fall sick after taking lunch

SAVAR, Jul 30: About 300 workers of a garment factory at Palashbari fell sick after taking their lunch Wednesday noon and were admitted to different hospitals. Local sources said workers of the PGCL Garments have fallen sick since Wednesday evening after taking their lunch given by the factory management. Of the workers, 200 were later admitted to Habib Clinic, Ganoshasthya and other local hospitals. — UNB
