31 suspected militants held

KUSHTIA, Apr 17 (UNB): Police, in a raid, detained 31 suspected members of banned Islamic outfit Hizb-ut-Towhid from Barabazar area of the district town Friday noon.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of sadar thana police conducted the drive at 'Pather Disha', the district office of the militant outfit, and arrested the suspected militants from a secret training session.
The arrested include district ameer of Hizb-ut-Towhid Mahabub Ali, Sohayer Banna, Hannan Khan, Shahjahan, Saiful, Shafiqul, Razzak, Jafir, Ruhul Amin, Nazrul, Saidur, Abu Bakr Siddiq, Mahamudul Hasan, Abdur Razzak, Mikail, Shafiul, Anisur, Alamin, Abdur Razzak, Jahanir, Jibon, Manik, Azizur, Rezaul Karim, Babul, Anisur, Saiful and Lilton.
