32 petrol, crude bombs recovered in Habiganj

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel in a drive recovered 17 petrol bombs, 15 crude bombs and three firearms from Dharmapur village in Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj district on Friday. Tipped off, a team of BGB conducted a drive and recovered the bombs and firearms from the rooftop of an abandoned building around 8 am, said BGB-55 Battalion Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Sazzad Hossain. The bombs and firearms had been kept there to carry out sabotage, he added. However, none was arrested in this connection, according to a news agency.
