3,249 students receive NST fellowships

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Jan 11: Some 3,249 students from different institutions across the country have been nominated for fellowships under the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship programme of Ministry of Science and Technology in 2020-21 fiscal year.
The fellowships were given in three categories: Biology and Medical Sciences, Physical Science and Food and Agriculture.
The lists of the recipients of fellowships were published on January 10 in three different notices signed by Khan Md Reza-Un-Nabi, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Science and Technology.
In a different notice the fellowship of 56 PhD and M.Phil researchers and students were renewed for the fiscal year of 2020-21.
Among the 3,429 fellowship recipients of this year, 3,217 are MS students and 9 and 23 are M.Phil. and PhD students respectively.
