34 gold bars recovered at Kamalapur

Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested two train passengers in possession of 34 gold bars weighng four kgs at Kamalapur railway station in the city on Wednesday morning. The arrestees were identified as Dilu (30) and Sumon (35). When the two passengers-- Dilu and Sumon -- got down from the train at Kamalapur station around 9:15 am, a railway police team challenged them and recovered the 34 gold bars worth Tk 15.3 million from inside their socks after searching their bodies. — UNB
