34 more Bangladeshis held in Malaysia

Malaysia in its ongoing drive against illegal foreign workers, arrested 34 more Bangladeshi nationals on Wednesday and the following day. With the latest arrests the number of Bangladeshi workers picked up by Malaysian police in the crackdown since January 21 now stands at 331. At least 2,544 illegal expatriate workers of different nationalities had so far been arrested by Malaysian police on various charges. A total of 1,239 detainees including 113 Bangladeshis had so far been deported, according to Bernama.
