34 rescued while being trafficked to India

BENAPOLE, Nov 28 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive rescued 34 people, including 10 women and three children, from Putkhali border of Benapole Friday morning while being trafficked to India.
The rescued people hail from Bagerhat, Narail and Gopalganj districts.
Being tipped off, a BGB team conducted a drive on the border and rescued them while they were being trafficked to the neighbouring country, said Lt Col Abdur Rahim, CO of BGB Battalion-23.
