35 Bandarban BDR mutineers sentenced

BANDARBAN, Nov 9 (bdnews24.com): A special BDR court has handed down sentences to 35 members of the Balipara 10 Rifles Battalion of Bandarban for siding with mutineers at Dhaka's Peelkhana headquarters, during the February 25-26 mutiny.
Amongst them, four of the members have been sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment.
A special court at Baitul Ijjat BDR Training Centre in Satkania handed down the verdict after the session convened around 10 am on Tuesday.
