3.5 km German flag maker given reception by envoy

MAGURA, July 12: 3.5 km German flag maker Amzad Hossain was given reception by the German ambassador (acting) here Saturday.
The reception ceremony was arranged at the Magura Asaduzzaman Stadium in Magura.
In the reception ceremony German ambassador Fardinand Van Oyehai gave Amzad life membership of Germany football team fan club. The ambassador also awarded him a certificate signed by the German chancellor appreciating Amzad's outstanding success of making 3,5 km flag . He was also gifted a football and a jersey of German football team.
In the ceremony the ambassador said, ''I am overjoyed with the love of Magura people for the German football team . Amzad's love for Germany football team is unprecedented.
Amzad Hosain said , ''I have made the flag at a cost of Tk 2.5 lakh . I have managed the money by selling my own land . Such reception by the German ambassador is a great achievement for Magura people.''
