3,556 blankets for cold-hit people allocated

NATORE, Dec 22 (BSS): The government has allocated 3,556 blankets for distribution among cold-hit distressed people of the district. Sources concerned said the district relief office will distribute the blankets among the distressed people in six upazilas of the district. The upazila wise break up of the allocated blankets is: 994 blankets in Natore Sadar upazila, 796 in Singra, 519 in Baraigram, 513 in Lalpur, 482 in Gurudaspur and 252 in Bagatipara upazila. Md Rezaul Karim, District Relief Officer, said the distribution of the blankets has already been started at union level. The distribution will be completed within this month, he added.
