36 wards of Roxy Paints partners receive annual education expenditure

CHITTAGONG, Oct 30: Besides manufacturing paints that colour buildings, Roxy Paints has undertaken a welfare step to colour the future of meritorious children of the company partners.
distribution and stipend awarding ceremony to 36 students, all children of partners selected from all over the country.
The awards included cash support to carry on their education, provisions for internship and job opportunity award.
The function was held at the Institution of Engineers, Chittagong recently presided over by its chairman Shahadat Hossain. It was graced by state minister for women and children Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury MP as chief guest, Chairman of Daffodils University Sabur Khan, film director Morshedul Islam, Abul Hashem MP and managing editor of the daily Samakal Abu Sayeed Khan.
In his welcome address executive director of Roxy Paints M Shamsuzzaman said that the programme has been taken for children of the partners who scored brilliant results in the 2011 SSC and equivalent exams.
