3,600 bottles Phensidyl recoveed: 2 held

Police arrested two young men in possession of 3,600 bottles of Phensidyl in Solonga Upazila in Sirajganjat district on Wednesday. The arrested are private car driver Fahim Ahmed, 30, a resident of Mirpur in Dhaka city and Shamim Ahmed, 25, a resident of Madaripur district. Police sources said on secret information, a team conducted a search in a Dhaka-bound private car from Rajshahi in Hatikumrul intersection in Solonga and recovered 3600 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from the vehicle, arresting the duo around 11:15 am. A case was filed, according to UNB.
