37 Swechchhasebak League men sent to jail

A Sylhet court has sent 37 local leaders and workers of Awami Swechchhasebak League to jail in a case filed under the Explosive Substances Act with Bianibazar Police Station. Former vice-chairman of Bianibazar Upazila and president of the Swechhasebok League Upazila unit Abul Kashem was among the accused. Judge of Sylhet Judicial Magistrate’s Court-2 Begum Jerin Sultana passed the order rejecting their bail prayers after they surrendered before the court with bail petition on Sunday afternoon, according to UNB.
