375 hospitalised with dengue in 24 hrs, seven new Covid cases
348 dengue patients discharged after recovery

Some 375 people have been admitted to hospitals across Bangladesh with the dengue fever in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning, according to the DGHS.
No deaths from the mosquito-borne disease were reported during this period.
Among the newly admitted patients, 121 are from Barishal division (out of City Corporation), 33 from Chattogram division (out of CC), 67 from Dhaka division(out of CC), 28 from Dhaka North City Corporation, 39 from Dhaka South City Corporation, 26 from Khulna division (out of CC), 3 from Mymensingh division (out of CC), 55 from Rajshahi division (outside of CC), and 3 from Rangpur division (Out of CC).
During the same time, 348 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Since the beginning of this year, a total of 15,585 people have been hospitalised with dengue. Among them, around 58.7 per cent are male and 41.3 per cent are female.
So far, 14,317 patients have recovered and gone home, while 58 people have died due to the disease. In comparison, the year 2024 saw a total of 101,214 dengue cases and 575 deaths across the country.
Meanwhile, the DGHS also reported that seven people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours to Tuesday morning. However, no deaths were reported from the virus during this time.
