38 DU students receive Duke of Edinburgh Int\\\'l Award

A total of 38 meritorious students from various Departments of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded ‘The Duke of Edinburgh International Award’ for their outstanding performances in the extra-curriculum activities. DU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique distributed certificates among the students as the chief guest at a function held at the Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences of the university on Thursday. Acting Director of the Students Counseling & Guidance Office of DU Prof Shaheen Islam presided over the function while National Director of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Prof Dr Khondaker Mohammod Shariful Huda, Chairman of the Executive Committee Rizwan Bin Farouq, Dr M Monzurul Karim and Kajal Kanti Debnath also addressed it, according to BSS.
