39 arrested in Satkhira

In separate drives police arrested 39 people, including 13 leaders and workers of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir, from different parts of Satkhira, including the district town on Tuesday and Wednesday. Police said, among the arrestees, the Jamaat-Shibir men were held in different cases related to carrying our sabotage, vndalising vehicles and setting fire while the rest are accused in various cases, according to a news agency.
