3qr performance of BASIC bank reviewed

The Branch & Operational Managers' conference of BASIC Bank Limited was held in the city recently, said a press release.
Sheikh Abdul Hye Bacchu, chairman of the bank was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
Jahangir Akhand Salim, Prof Dr Kazi Akhtar Hossain, Shakhawat Hossain and Md Anwarul Islam, directors of the Bank, were present at the meeting. AKM Sajedur Rahman, managing director of the bank presided over the conference.
Sk Monzur Morshed, deputy managing director, all general managers, operational in-charges, branch-in charges and other executives of the head office were also present at the conference.
The meeting reviewed the third quarter performance of the bank and took an action plan for the next three months to achieve the target of 2010.
In his address of welcome chairman of the bank called for united effort for accelerating business growth to achieve the target of Tk 2.0 billion (200 crore) profit for the year 2010.
He emphasised the expansion of foreign remittance business through better customer and modern banking service.
