3rd accreditation course on mediation begins

The 3rd Accreditation Course on Mediation arranged by Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) in collaboration with Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), UK began in Dhaka Saturday at a local hotel. The course was arranged by the Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) with the support of International Finance Corporation (IFC) from 24-29 May 2014.  Twenty four trainees from different professions-- lawyers, bankers, company executives, teachers-- are participating in the programme.  Four officers from Bangladesh Army and one from Ministry of Foreign Affairs are also participating in this course. However, accreditation will be awarded to participants on successful completion of their assessment by CEDR. Four trainers from CEDR came from London to conduct the training, according to a BIAC statement.
