3rd death anniv of Fawzia Samad today

The 3rd death anniversary of Begum Fawzia Samad, wife of late MA Samad, founder of Bangladesh General Insurance Company (BGIC) Limited, will be observed today (Friday).
Fawzia Samad, former president of Dhaka Ladies' Club, contributed a lot to the establishment of BGIC.
She along with his husband founded a magazine named 'Miner' for the children and youths of the country in 1949.
