4 banks recover Tk 652.5m loan in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Jul 24 (BSS): Four nationalised banks recovered a total of Tk 652.5 million (Tk 65,25,00,000) loan in the district during the fiscal 2006-07.
District agri-loan committee told the news agency that the recovered amount was a part of the loan recovery target of total Tk 903.1 million fixed for the same year.
According to bank-wise collection, Joypurhat Sonali bank collected Tk 5,86,12,000, Joypurhat Agrani bank Tk 3,98,50,000, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank in Joypurhat area Tk 53,33,18,000 and Janata bank Tk 2,13,09,000, the sources added.
