4 cattle traders fall victim to dope party

Four cattle traders of Tangail fell victims to agyan (dope) party members and were robbed of Tk 0.6 million in a Gulistan-bound bus coming from Narayanganj. The victims, Shahjahan Mia, 45, Arif Hossain, 25, Md Babu, 30, and Ananda, 30, are now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. They hailed from Baghayartek, Nagarpur of Tangail district. Dope party members made them unconscious with sedatives and looted Tk 0.6m while they were going to Gulistan by an ‘Ananda Paribahan’ bus for selling their cattle in Gabtoli, police said. Fellow traders rushed them to DHCM, according to a news agency.
