4 die in Munshiganj road accident

At least four people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Gazaria Upazila in Munshiganj district on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased – two women and two children – could not be identified. Witnesses said a cement-laden truck overturned after skidding and fell on a CNG-run auto-rickshaw parked at Jamaldi Bus Stand on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, leaving the four auto-rickshaw passengers dead on the spot around 1:00pm. Two pedestrians were also injured in the accident, according to private TV channels.
