4 feared dead in road accident

At least four people are feared dead and an unspecified number injured in a fatal road accident in Rajapur Upazila in Jhalakati district on Tuesday afternoon. Being informed police rushed to the spot. Local people said the law enforcers with the help of the locals have started rescue operation. Many injured people were rushed to Razapur Health Complex. Police, quoting locals said the accident took place in Biswashbari area in the afternoon. A bus plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving four dead on the spot and many bus passengers injured around 3:45pm, police, locals and hospital sources said, according to a news agency.
