4 Gazipur RMG workers suffer burn injuries

Four workers sustained burn injuries as hot water from a boiler pipe spilled on them at a ready-made garment factory in the city’s Tongi area on Tuesday noon. Police said water spilled out of the boiler pipe after it developed a crack and fell on a group of workers while they were working at the dyeing section of ‘Shanta Expressions Ltd’ at noon. Four of the workers suffered severe burn injuries. They were first taken to a local hospital where doctors referred them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
