4 grenades recovered

Four live grenades have been recovered in Kaukhali upazila in Rangmati. Sources said a group of children while taking bath in a pond near Ghagra Bazar on Thursday afternoon. Their parents noticed a bomb-like object floating in the water and let a few local people know the matter. Informed, a team of explosive experts of the army reached the spot and recovered the object at 6:30pm, which, after unfolding, was found to be containing four live grenades. The grenades now in the custody of army are being examined. Habibur Rahman Habib, additional superintendent of police, Rangamati, confirming the recovery of the grenades said the army team of explosive experts will later defuse those, according to UNB.
