4 grenades recovered in Rangamati

RANGMATI, May 9 (UNB): Four live grenades were recovered from the Ghagra Bazar area under Kaukhali Upazila Thursday.
Sources said a group of children while taking bath in a pond near Ghagra Bazar in the afternoon noticed a bomb-like object floating and let a few local people know the matter.
A team of explosive experts of the army reached the spot and recovered those after unfolding. The grenades now in the custody of army are being examined.
Habibur Rahman Habib, additional superintendent of police (SP), Rangamati, confirming the recovery of the grenades said the army team of explosive experts defused those.
