4 hurt in Ctg cylinder blast

Four workers of a ship breaking yard suffered burn injuries following a gas cylinder explosion at Shital Enterprise in Kumira of Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong district on Saturday. The victims were identified as Al Amin, Nazim, Moksed and Shahjahan. All of them hail from Khulna and Kurigram districts. Saifullah, sub-inspector of Sitakunda Police Station, said the explosion took place when the workers were working at the ship breaking yard around 7:30 am, leaving the four workers burn injured. Later, they were rushed to the burn unit of Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said Pankaj Barua, sub-inspector of CMCH police camp, according to a news agency.
