4 kids drown in Thakurgaon

THAKURGAON, Aug 28 (UNB): Four children, including two siblings, drowned in a pond at Bahadurpara in the district town Thursday. The deceased were identified as Rifat and Fahim - two sons of Enamul Haq, Nupur, daughter of Md Chutu and Latiful son of Nur  Islam. Local people said one of the four children slipped into the pond while bathing. When the three other kids jumped into the pond to save the drowning child all of them drowned. Later, local people recovered the bodies of the four children from the pond.-UNB
