4 killed in city road crash

Four pedestrians were killed and six others injured as a bus hit them near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport roundabout in the city on Wednesday morning. Three of the deceased were identified as Bilkis Begum (32), Tajuddin (40) and Abdul Quddus Chowdhury (55). The Abdullahpur-bound bus of 'Jabale-e-Noor Paribahan' from Mirpur after losing control climbed on the footpath at the airport intersection and knocked down pedestrians at about 10:30 am. — UNB
