4 killed in Gazipur road accident

At least four people, including a woman, were killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a human-hauler in Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur district on Tuesday. The deceased could not be identified immediately. Witnesses said a speedy truck collided with the Kaliakoir-bound human-hauler (Laguna) on Dhaka-Tangail Highway at Chandra around 8:00am, leaving four human-hauler passengers dead on the spot and five others injured. The injured were rushed to Kaliakoir Upazila Health Complex. Conditions of some of them are stated to be critical, according to a news agency.
