4 minors hurt in crude bomb blast

Four minor children received injuries as an abandoned crude bomb blasted while they were playing near a bamboo cluster in Noyapara College Road area of Abhaynagar upazila of Jessore district on Sunday morning. Sheikh Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge of Abhaynagar Police Station, said the four children found an abandoned crude bomb near the bamboo cluster owned by one Anis and they started playing with it in the morning. At one stage, the crude bomb went off with a big bang, leaving them injured. Later the injured were rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
