4 missing in Buriganga boat capsize

Four people were missing, as a boat sank in the Buriganga River in the Sadarghat Launch Terminal area under South Keraniganj Thana Sunday night. All of the victims were day-labourers. Their identities could not be known immediately. Alamgir, havildar of Sadarghat Fire Service, said the accident had taken place at the No.-10 platoon of the area at around 8pm when a boat with 10 passengers aboard capsized after being hit  by the triple-decker launch ‘MV Bhola’.  However, six of them managed to swim ashore, according to a news agency.
