4 return from Indian jail

Four Bangladeshi women and a minor boy returned home through Benapole check post on Monday night after serving four years’ jail in an Indian prison. The returnees were identified as Manika Pandey,21, and her one-year old son Koushik and Alladi Biswas,55, both residents of Gopalganj, Salma,20, a resident of Satkhira and Rita Rani,45, a resident of Patuakhali district. Mominur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Benapole immigration police said, Indian immigration police handed over them to Bangladeshi immigration police at night. A team of Indian police had arrested them four years back from Hawra railway station area in Kolkata for entering India illegally. Afterwards, they were sent to Kolkata Central Jail, according to a news agency.
