4 robbers arrested in Satkhira

Police arrested four suspected robbers at Khajra in Ashashuni upazila of Satkhira district on early Saturday. Of the arrestees, three were identified as Manjurul, Takmarul and Kalam while identity of another could not be known immediately. Sub-inspector Awal, duty officer of Ashashuni Police Station, said local people caught the four in the dead of night while a gang of robbers was preparing to commit robbery in the area. The villagers then handed over them to police after giving them a good beating. Later, police arrested them and took them to Satkhira Sadar Hospital. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
