4 Shibir men held CU teachers observe one-hr strike

Chittagong, Sept 13 (UNB)-Police on Friday night arrested four activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir in connection with bomb attack on a bus carrying teachers of Chittagong University in Hathazari upazila here on Wednesday.
Police launched a drive on the campus and its adjacent areas at night and arrested Ansarul Haq, a staff of the university, Imon Hossain, Md Mostafa and Nurul Amin., said Abul Kashem, sub-inspector of Hathazari police station.
Meanwhile, the teachers of Chittagong University observed a one-hour work abstention on Saturday protesting the bomb attack.
CU Teachers' Association (CUTA) president Benu Kumer said they observed the strike from 11 am to 12 pm.
