4 shops fined Tk45,000 in Sunamganj

A mobile court in Sunamganj on Thursday fined four restaurants in Chhatak upazila Tk 45,000 for selling adulterated and substandard foods. The drive was conducted by Ainur Akter Panna, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and executive magistrate. The mobile court fined Pritiraj Shaheen Hotel, Bhai-Bhai Hotel and Resturant and Atik Hotel and Resturant Tk 10,000 each while Tk 15,000 was realised in fine from Rajdhani Hotel and Sweetmeat for selling adulterated and rotten foods and preparing foods in an unhygienic condition, according to UNB.
