4 SUST students suspended for assaulting teacher

The authorities of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) suspended four students for assaulting an assistant proctor of the university on the campus on Tuesday. They are: Ariful Haque Sony, a 4th year student of Food Engineering and Tea Technology Department, Mehedi Hasan, 4th year student of the Statistics Department, and Nazrul Islam and Khalilur Rahman, 3rd year and 2nd year students respectively of the Sociology Department. Campus sources said the decision came from a disciplinary board meeting held at SUST administrative building in Sylhet on Tuesday afternoon, according to a news agency.
