4 workers killed in Gazipur bridge collapse

GAZIPUR, Apr 3: Four construction workers were killed and another was injured as an old bridge, during its demolition, collapsed on them at Barun village in Kapasia upazila on Thursday morning. The deceased could not be identified immediately. Witnesses said a part of the dilapidated bridge fell on a group of construction workers at about 8:30 am while they were demolishing it, leaving four of them dead on the spot and another injured. — UNB
