400 sued in three cases over Banskhali BNP-police clash

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 27 (BSS): As many as three cases were filed against 400 people on Friday night in connection with the clash between the activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and police in Banskhali upazila of the district which left 45 injured.
Banskhali Thana Police filed the cases on Friday night, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the thana Kamal Uddin.
In the case, former President of Chattogram South District BNP and former minister Zafarul Islam Chowdhury, South District BNP Convener Abu Sufian and its Member Secretary Mostak Ahmed and more than 300-400 unnamed leaders and activists of the BNP were sued in the cases.
