40,000 Yaba tablets seized in Teknaf

COX’S BAZAR: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 40,000 pieces of Yaba tablet, worth about Tk 12 million, at Nazirpara in Teknaf upazila Saturday night.
As a patrol team of BGB-42 in sluice gate No 2.5 area on the bank of the Naf River around 9 pm, some smugglers fled the scene leaving behind the huge Yaba tablet in a bag, said Commanding officer of BGB-42 Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jar Al Zahid.
