413 sacks of urea fertiliser seized

BHOLA, July 25 (UNB): Navy personnel seized 413 sacks of urea fertiliser from a trawler at Mojom Bazar in Borhanuddin Upazila Sunday night.
Police said acting on a tip off the Navy team searched a trawler in Mojom bazar canal and seized the fertiliser which was being smuggled to Myanmar.
Sensing the presence of the officials, smugglers onboard the trawler escaped.
The fertiliser sacks were handed over to the police and a case was filed in this connection.
